Nestled in the Bay of Islands countryside near Kerikeri, Liddington Gardens is one of Northland’s most beautiful garden wedding venues. Surrounded by mature gardens, tranquil water features, and native planting, it offers a private and intimate setting that feels both elegant and relaxed.
We’ve had the privilege of photographing weddings at Liddington Gardens and love how effortlessly wedding days flow here. The gardens provide stunning ceremony and portrait locations, while the contemporary reception space, Shed109, creates a seamless transition from day to evening celebrations.
One of the things that makes Liddington so special is owner Susi and her husband, who genuinely care about creating an incredible experience for every couple. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality are often highlighted by couples long after the wedding day has finished.

While we haven’t photographed a full wedding at Willows Ranch yet, we’re excited to have our first wedding there this coming October. Having visited the property and spent time with Willow and Philippa , we can already see why so many couples love it. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the atmosphere is welcoming, and there are stunning backdrops in every direction.
