I’m Joel, a wedding and elopement photographer based in Northland and Queenstown, New Zealand. Thank you for stopping by! With a deep passion for art and a love for human connection, my aim is to encapsulate your love story in an honest and unique way. Trying to find words that aren’t cliche to accurately describe how incredible Joel and Bonita (plus 33 week baby Arlo!) were at our elopement. We have ridiculously beautiful, creative, “non-cookie cutter” photos that we love! All of the special moments that could have been so easily forgotten are captured perfectly. BUT not only do we have crazy cool photos, we also had so much fun with Joel and Bonita. We quickly got over the awkward “stranger taking your photo” vibes and soon felt like old friends. They blended in so well, ensuring our small elopement retained the intimate feels we wanted. Following the ceremony, we were stoked they were keen to scramble down a cliff and jump on a boat for a golden hour adventure around Bay of Islands.
